New roof for deserving Bucks County woman on Christmas Eve

MORRISVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Just in time for Christmas, a woman from Bucks County is getting a brand new roof.

Crews at Remodeling Concepts were at Tori Marcakis' home in Morrisville bright and early Thursday morning.

Marcakis was nominated by her friends and family.

They say she spends her time helping the Morrisville Senior Center and the Bucks County Opportunity Council.

Marcakis manages to do all that while working full time, going to school, and taking care of her three children and her 83-year-old mother.

"I don't even have words. This is just fantastic that there's all these people here on Christmas Eve doing something nice for somebody," Marcakis said.

The contest was put on by Remodeling Concepts, which wanted to give back to a deserving person in the community.
