Pa. School for the Deaf drums in Blossomfest

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- These Taiko drummers are part of the celebration to kick off the 2016 Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival.

The event was held at the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in Germantown Wednesday morning.

The students "signed" the national anthem, and a Japanese folk tale was read to the students by Philadelphia city representative Sheila Hess.

The school was selected to receive a grove of Cherry Trees, which will arrive in June.
