Hundreds of children went back in time, to William Penn's former estate in Bucks County

MORRISVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Hundreds of children went back in time, to William Penn's former estate in Bucks County.

Students from 9 local schools went to Pennsbury Manor to watch the sheep receive their annual hair cuts.

This event known as "Sheep Shearing Day" teaches the kids about the role animals played in colonial Pennsylvania.

The Morrisville estate welcomes hundreds of students for this field trip every year.
