Philadelphia landmark re-opens to the public
They unveiled the new and improved Ritz Carlton Philadelphia

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- They unveiled the new and improved Ritz Carlton Philadelphia.

Thursday morning the vault was opened, and the 25 million dollar transformation was unveiled to the public.

Guests mingled in the lobby before getting a tour.

The renovations kept the look and tradition of the building.

It first opened in 1908 as the Girard Trust Bank.

The 299 rooms were redone in rich hues, the colors of money and precious metals.
