Royersford police search for owner of '9-27-58' wedding ring

ROYERSFORD, Pa. (WPVI) -- The search is on for the owner of a wedding ring that dates back 60 years.

The wedding band was discovered on the floor of a Giant supermarket in Limerick.

The ring has an inscription of "SR to RPD 9-27-58."

The Royersford Borough Police Department shared a photo of the ring to its Facebook page hoping to find its owner.

The post reads "60 years of marriage is so worth trying to find the owner."
