Here's one professor who deserves a Ph.D. in good childcare.

Sydney Engelberg was teaching a class at Hebrew University in Jerusalem when a baby brought to class by one of his students began to cry. The mother, who did not have a babysitter that day, was preparing to leave with her child when Engelberg took charge of the situation. The organizational management professor picked up the baby and continued on with his lecture.

A photo of Engelberg, a father of four with five grandchildren, calming the baby went viral after it was posted on Imgur. The photo has been viewed over 1 million times and has almost 50,000 shares on Facebook.

"This is a professor who truly cares about the education of his students. Seriously," wrote one Imgur user.

"More than one subject being taught. +1," wrote another.

Engelberg's family has been shocked by the popularity of the photo.

"He's gotten love letters," Fredi Siskind Engelberg, the professor's wife, told Yahoo Parenting. "He's pretty blase about it, and we just find it all very funny. I think it must have happened on a no-news day."

Engelberg told Yahoo Parenting he encourages his students to bring their children to class. "The reason is that education for me is not simply conveying content, but teaching values...how better than by role modeling?"
