CLIFTON HEIGHTS, Pa. (WPVI) -- County and state officials came together Thursday in Delaware County to push for early education.
This round table discussion and tour at Today's Child Clifton Heights Center focused on the importance of pre-k learning.
Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan presented research that found high quality pre-k can help prevent crime, and save taxpayers money in the long run.
Whelan and other officials were joined by Pennsylvania State senator Tom McGarrigle who helped read to the students.
