Reception in Old City for future cadets

OLD CITY (WPVI) -- The fifteen young men and women at a Thursday night reception are about to join and elite club.

They're headed off to The US Military Academy at West Point.

The future cadets gathered at the National Liberty Museum in old city.

Every year more than 50 thousand students apply to west point but only 9 percent get in.
