Speaking of heroism

VALLEY FORGE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A hero from the war in Afghanistan told his story Wednesday in Valley Forge.

Sergeant Leroy Petry spoke to teachers from across the country during a Freedoms Foundation War on Terror seminar.

Petry received the Medal of Honor for his action in 2008 to save his fellow Army Rangers.

Wounded in both legs, he also lost his hand throwing away a Taliban hand grenade that landed at his feet.
