Special workout for determined students

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A group of West Philadelphia students spent Monday afternoon getting ready for this weekend's Broad Street Run.

The Global Leadership Academy Charter School organized a special workout after school for the students who are running the ten-mile race on Sunday.

All of the students are first time runners.

School officials say they hope the experience inspires the students to be lifelong runners.
