Tamala chairs Urban Affairs workshop

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Non-profit organizations in Philadelphia met Wednesday morning to learn about how they can maximize their impact in the community through the media.

The Urban Affairs Coalition held the workshop in Center City.

Action News anchor Tamala Edwards served as moderator for the event.

6ABC's Public Affairs Manager Nikki Hawkins sat on a panel of media experts.

They answered questions about how non-profits can best engage the media to cover community events.
