Many hugged their parents goodbye, before boarding a bus at the Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia's headquarters Wednesday morning.
The youngsters, who are mostly from low-income families, are spending the next week at the Salvation Army's sleep-away summer camp in the Poconos.
