Torch run to benefit Special Olympics

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Athletes and local law enforcement filled Citizens Bank stadium Friday morning.

They were there to participate in the annual Unified Fall Festival torch run to benefit the Special Olympics.

Chief inspector Dennis Wilson carried the torch on behalf of the police department.

He led the group through the non-competitive marathon, which stretch from South Philadelphia all the way to Villanova University.
