Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey joined Twitter and made a big splash in his social media debut.

While wearing a Taney Dragons t-shirt, the city's top cop accepted the ALS ice bucket challenge.

Commissioner Ramsey challenged Mayor Michael Nutter, Deputy Mayor Everett Gillison and police chiefs of other cities.
