EAST FALLS (WPVI) -- After nearly 6 months of alternate routes, commuters can now use the Walnut Lane Bridge again.
Crews wrapped up construction and the bridge in East Falls reopened Tuesday afternoon.
The 109 year old bridge closed back in April so Penndot could install a new concrete deck and new sidewalks.
Before it was shut down, more than 16 thousand cars used the bridge every day.
