Working to eliminate discrimination

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Dozens gathered in Center City Tuesday night for a hearing on racism and discrimination in Philadelphia's LGBTQ community.

The Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations hosted public hearing.

Members of the community shared their stories of discrimination in the city.

Mayor Jim Kenney was also on hand.

The commission says it will take the information it gathers to make recommendations for positive change.
