VIDEO: Instant gratification run coming to Philly
If you love the idea of taking part in a race but hate the idea of running, this may just be the event for you.

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- If you love the idea of taking part in a race but hate the idea of running, this may just be the event for you.

It's the world's shortest race, dubbed Philadelphia's first ever Instant Gratification Run.

Unlike the Philadelphia Marathon, where thousands of runners stare down the challenge of 26.2 miles, in this run the start line is also the finish line.

Runners need to only step over it to both begin and end their 0.0 mile challenge.

All participants are then invited join in the post-race festivities.

The race steps off on February 6 in South Philadelphia at 7:30 p.m. and promptly ends one second later.

Registration for the Philly 0.0 Instant Gratification Run is $35 and all proceeds benefit charity.
