2 injured, including child, in Somers Point accident

SOMERS POINT, N.J. (WPVI) -- Authorities say an adult and a child were injured in a four vehicle crash in Somers Point, New Jersey.

It happened shortly after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Shore Road and West Groveland Avenue.

Initial reports indicate that an SUV and three other vehicles collided, causing the SUV to overturn.

An adult and a child were taken to Cooper Hospital in serious condition.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
