2 people in custody following South Jersey shooting

WESTVILLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police say two people are in custody following a shooting at an apartment complex in Westville, New Jersey late Thursday night.

The shooting happened around 10:40 p.m. on the 700 block of Broadway at the Westwood Manor Apartments.

Officers arrived to find a man suffering with a gunshot wound and the suspects fleeing.

After a brief pursuit the suspects were caught in Camden and arrested, police say.

The victim remains in the hospital. His name has not been released.
