Man wanted for armed robbery in Southwest Philadelphia
SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are looking for the man who they say robbed a mini market in Southwest Philadelphia.
It happened on December 22 at the R+J Mini Market, located at 5358 Woodland Avenue.
It was approximately 5 p.m. when the suspect entered the store. Surveillance cameras captured the suspect as he made his way to the rear of the store. That's where he approached an employee, pulled out a handgun, and demanded money.
After taking an undetermined amount of cash the suspect fled.
The suspect is described as a black male, medium brown complexion, facial hair, 5'9, 185lbs, medium build, wearing all black clothing, and armed with a handgun.
