Man critical after shooting in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man is hospitalized in critical condition following a shooting in Southwest Philadelphia Thursday.

The victim was found around 1:45 p.m. in the 2600 block of Shields Street.

The 25-year-old victim sustained a gunshot wound to the right side of his head and two more to his right elbow.

He was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where is remains in critical but stable condition.

So far, police have made no arrests.
