Man shot in the knee in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man in his 40s was shot in Southwest Philadelphia Thursday morning.

The shooting occurred around 7:55 a.m. on the 2000 block of South Redfield Street.

The victim was shot once in the knee and rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

So far, no word on his condition.

Police have not said a motive for the shooting.
