Man stabbed in chest in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a stabbing in the Southwest Philadelphia neighborhood.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Thursday on the 5800 block of Theodore Street.

An unidentified man was stabbed in the chest, police say.

He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for treatment.

His condition is unknown at this time, and police have not released his name.
