PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It was not an ordinary night for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz.

According to his Twitter account, the first round draft pick got locked in a bathroom in New Jersey.

Wentz tweeted Wednesday night he was at a gas station when things did not go as planned.

"Just got locked in a bathroom at a NJ gas station," he tweeted at 7:47 p.m.

The Eagles quarterback needed a Hail Mary.

"Praise the Lord for the attendants w/ the garden shears & the other guy w/ the leg kick," Wentz tweeted.

In response, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter wrote, "Always a lot for rookies to learn."
