Local family, including newest addition, ready to cheer on Wildcats
The biggest Villanova fan in Buffalo, New York, may be the smallest.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WPVI) -- There's lots of love for Jay Wright and Villanova in Buffalo, New York.

Everyone wants a shot with the guy who hit the shot!

Kris Jenkins is among the fan favorites.

The biggest Villanova fan there may be the smallest - 11-month-old Mark Ramirez was born just hours before last year's Final Four semi-final win over Oklahoma, and he's a local family's fourth child.

"We thought we were gonna kicked out of hospital. We were shouting so much, and we were just super excited. The whole weekend was very emotional," said Villanova fan Melissa Ramirez.

"When it comes to good weekends. You have your fourth child. Villanova goes to the national championship. Doesn't get much better than that. So we're very fortunate that Nova's here right now. We're bigtime Nova fans, all of our kids," said Villanova fan Dean Ramirez.

"I'm very excited," said Villanova fan Madeline Ramirez.

With his little good luck charm, Dean Ramirez, a Conshohocken native, is hoping his son brings Nova good luck again, as they attempt to repeat as champs starting tonight against the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers.

"It always a blessing to have Nova Nation come out and support, especially with these weather conditions, and all of the snow in Philly and up here," said Villanova guard Josh Hart.

"Anyone who would come up here for this game is a fan. Up here in this weather, we really appreciate it," said Villanova coach Jay Wright.

Villanova needs all the cheering they can get. They're trying to become just the third team in the last 43 years to win back-to-back titles.
