Phillies claim pitcher Otero off waivers from A's

PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Phillies have claimed right handed pitcher Dan Otero off waivers from the Oakland Athletics.
The 30-year-old played in 41 games last season and had a 2-4 record with an ERA of 6.75.
Otero was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 2007.
He made his MLB debut in 2012.
