Quarterback Christian Hackenberg speaks with Jamie Apody following his first practice with the Eagles

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Christian Hackenberg is trying to salvage his NFL career.

The former Penn State quarterback was signed by the Eagles Monday.

Hackenberg doesn't want to be just another arm. He is looking to make the team, even if it means the practice squad.

6abc's Jamie Apody spoke with Hackenberg following his first practice with the team.
