Sources: Sean Couturier signs 6-year extension with Flyers with $4.3M AAV

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed center Sean Couturier to a multiyear contract extension, the team announced Tuesday.

The deal is for six years and carries an average annual value of $4.33 million, sources told ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun.

Couturier had a career-high 15 goals to go with 22 assists while playing in all 82 games for the second consecutive season.

The 22-year-old wrapped up his fourth year in the league and has played in 198 consecutive games.
