Temple Owls ranked #23 after heartbreaking loss

PHILADLEPHIA (WPVI) -- Despite falling short of defeating Notre Dame Saturday night, the Temple Owls remain a Top 25 ranked team.

This week Temple stands at #23 in both the Associated Press Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Last week, the Owls were ranked #21 in the AP poll and #22 in the Coaches poll.

Temple is coming off a heartbreaking 24-20 loss to the Fighting Irish.

On Friday, Temple plays Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
