Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz was very adamant Thursday that the team should not finish 7-9, as they did last season.

"7 and 9 will never be good enough, never want to be done playing for the playoffs, it will never be acceptable," Wentz said.

Wentz made the remarks on the first day of full squad workouts at Eagles Training Camp in South Philadelphia.

The players believe they can be one of the best offenses in the NFL.

"I know it's early. We have a lot of work to do, but we truly believe we have the guys to do something special. We just have to put in the time, put in the work, and really find who we are, to some extent, our true identity," Wentz said.

"I think with this offensive line, the playmakers we got, we can do something special, but we got to do the work in," wide receiver Alshon Jeffery said.

Jeffery's definition of something special? "You'll see at the end of the year."
