Man in critical condition after stabbing in Juniata

VIDEO: Argument leads to stabbing in Juniata
Philadelphia police say an argument in Juniata ended when one man pulled out a knife and stabbed another.

JUNIATA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say 36-year-old man is in critical condition after being stabbed in Juniata.



It happened at 2:15 a.m. Sunday near M and Luzerne Streets.



Police say the victim and another man were walking toward the Sav-A-Lot store at M and Erie Streets when they were accosted by three men.



Both victims started running. One of the suspects caught up with the 36-year-old man and stabbed him several times in the chest and back.



The other man ran for help.



Medics rushed the man who had been stabbed to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.



The suspects fled on foot. The motive for the stabbing appears to have been robbery.



Police are looking for three Hispanic men believed to be 25-30 years old.



So far there have been no arrests.
