Man sought after firing assault rifle in Strawberry Mansion

STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- Investigators are also asking for the public's help finding a man seen walking around a Strawberry Mansion neighborhood with an assault rifle.

Surveillance video captured the suspect carrying the weapon near the 3000 block of West Cumberland Street back on July 31st.

At one point, police say he actually fired the rifle at the ground.

The suspect is described as a black male, full beard, wearing a white shirt with purple stripes, light colored cargo shorts, and yellow sneakers.
