Man shot in the head in Strawberry Mansion

STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- A 50-year-old man is hospitalized in critical condition after being shot in Philadelphia's Strawberry Mansion section.

The shooting happened before 1:00 a.m. on the 2600 block of North 25th Street.

Police say he was shot in the head and rushed to the hospital.

Investigators are checking the surveillance cameras in the area for information.

so far, there are no arrests or word on a motive.
