Thief armed with box cutter robs South Philadelphia store

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for the man who used a box cutter to rob a South Philadelphia business.

It happened inside the Chin Paper Towel Store along the 800 block of Washington Avenue back on April 17th.

Surveillance video shows the suspect walk in, call to the female clerk and take a box cutter from his pocket.

The clerk goes behind the counter and opens the register.

The thief then grabs several handfuls of cash and runs out.

The clerk was not hurt.
