SUV slams into SEPTA trolley in North Philly, 2 men flee

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say an SUV slammed into a SEPTA trolley and two men fled the scene in North Philadelphia early Saturday morning.

The incident occurred around 3:02 a.m. in the area of 5th and Girard.

Police say a silver Chevy SUV crashed into the SEPTA Route 15 trolley then hit several parked cars.

Both men abandoned the SUV and fled the scene.

There were no passengers on the trolley and no injuries reported.
