Teen dies after being shot in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DEL. (WPVI) -- A teen who was shot and left on a Wilmington street Monday afternoon has died from his injuries.

Officers found 19-year-old Dwayne Grimes along the 500 block of Jefferson Street with a gunshot wound to his chest.

They rushed him to Christiana Hospital for treatment, but he did not make it.

The fatal shooting remains under investigation.
