Go Red for Women event

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The American Heart Association went to the classroom Tuesday to put more power in girl power.

Action News stopped by Philadelphia's first ever Go Red for Women event, at school district headquarters.

Women leaders talked to 9th and 10th grade girls about the importance of a STEM education.

They told them that Science, Technology, Engineering and Math jobs can be done by them, not just boys.
