Donation for a furry first responder

MINQUADALE, Del. (WPVI) -- The New Castle City Police received a generous donation Thursday, and it's all for their four legged officer.

A check for one thousand dollars was presented to the department.

The funds will cover the costs of this bullet proof vest for Cooper the K-9.

Bob and Theresa D'Orazio of Broomall donated the money after meeting Cooper and his handler at a demonstration where Cooper impressed them with his drug detecting skills.
