"Food for Fines" charity drive

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- The New Castle County Library system is giving out forgiveness for the holidays this year.

This week only, the libraries will cancel your overdue book fines up to 25 dollars, if you ask for amnesty.

They're hoping everyone will use their money to buy and donate canned goods instead.

The "food for fines" charity drive will benefit families across Delaware.

Anyone can donate, anytime, to bins placed around the libraries.
