3rd graders tour university

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- They're only in elementary school, but they're already thinking about college.

Thursday about 300 third graders from Philadelphia schools went for a tour at La Salle University.

Volunteers who led this field trip are hoping it will inspire the children to stay on a path toward college acceptance.

A local Junior Achievement chapter organized the outing.
