Thief caught on video stealing trash cans in Northern Liberties

NORTHERN LIBERTIES (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for a thief who was caught on surveillance stealing trash cans in the city's Northern Liberties neighborhood.

The incident happened on January 17 at 1:00 p.m. on the 200 block of West George Street.

The suspect can be seen taking several trash cans from the outside of homes on the 200 block of West George Street.

Police describe the thief as a white male, 30 years-old with a thin build. He was wearing a red, white and black knit hat, black jacket, blue jeans and a red shirt.
