Toddler found wandering city streets in pajamas

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A North Philadelphia toddler is back home after slipping away from her grandmother's house.

The 2-year-old girl was found wandering the streets near the area of 21st and Norris streets just before 1:00 Wednesday afternoon.

Police picked the pajama-clad toddler up and took her to headquarters.

That's where the little girl was reunited with her grandmother about 30 minutes later.

Though the toddler wasn't hurt, DHS is investigating.
