Fifteen million Americans across the Plains are under threat for severe weather, including tornadoes, on Friday.

More than two dozen tornadoes were reported across the Plains Thursday and Friday, mostly in western Kansas and central Oklahoma, around Oklahoma City.

Some of the worst damage was reported in and around Noble, Oklahoma, about 30 miles south of Oklahoma City, where a tornado struck homes and businesses, according to ABC affiliate KOCO.

A tornado watch is in effect for much of eastern Nebraska and surrounding parts of South Dakota and Iowa Friday afternoon and evening. Tornadoes are possible, as well as very large hail and wind gusts up to 70 mph.

Damaging winds and large hail are also possible across much of Texas, including Dallas, as well as Oklahoma City; Kansas City, Missouri; and Des Moines, Iowa.
