Driver trapped after tractor-trailer overturns in New Castle, Del.

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- A driver became trapped after a tractor-trailer overturned in New Castle, Delaware.

The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. Friday in the area of DuPont Highway and Lisa Drive.

Authorities say a load of granite in the truck shifted and caused it to overturn.

The driver was briefly trapped and to be rescued.

That person was taken to Christiana Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Traffic was delayed in the area.
