1 dead after head-on crash in Whitemarsh Twp.

WHITEMARSH TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- One person is dead after a head-on crash in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County.

It happened around 5:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Flourtown Road.

Police say a car driven by Kenneth Greene of Orleland crossed into the opposite lane and struck an SUV head-on.

Green was killed in the crash, police say.

The driver of the SUV was treated and released from the hospital.

An investigation into the crash continues.
