EVESHAM TWP, N.J. (WPVI) -- Two people are hospitalized after a crash between a tractor trailer and a car in Evesham Township, New Jersey.

The crash happened around 7:45 a.m. Thursday at Marlton Parkway and Sagemore Drive, near the Promenade Shopping Center.

There were two people in the car, a male and a female, who were both injured.

Both were taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden; the male was flown, the female taken by ambulance.

The extent of their injuries were not immediately clear.

The tractor-trailer driver was not hurt.

Marlton Parkway remained shut down for several hours as police investigated and crews worked to clear the scene.
