2 police officers injured in head-on crash in Germantown

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- Two Philadelphia police officers were injured a crash in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday on Germantown Avenue and High Street.

Authorities say the unmarked police vehicle was hit by another car head-on.

Both officers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver from the other vehicle is also being treated for injuries.

No word on what caused the vehicles to crash.
