2 recovering from crash in East Mount Airy

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two people are recovering from a bad crash in the Philadelphia's East Mount Airy section.

Police say the driver lost control and smashed into a utility pole on the 1300 block of Washington Lane around midnight.

The driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital with multiple injuries.
