SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two people were hurt after a car plowed into the middle of a South Philadelphia restaurant.
It happened around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday at the Pearl of East restaurant on the 2000 block of West Oregon Avenue.
Police say a driver lost control and crashed into the establishment.
The driver was hauled away in cuffs by the police.
One of the injured victims was taken to Jefferson University Hospital for treatment.
Licenses and Inspections arrived to determine the extent of the damage to the building.
