Truck fire shuts down I-78 during morning rush

HAMBURG, Pa. (WPVI) -- A truck fire shut down Interstate 78 in Berks County during the morning rush.

It happened around 5:45 a.m. Monday near Route 61 just outside of Hamburg.

Chopper 6 over the scene showed smoke coming out of both ends of the tractor trailer.

I-78 was shut down in both directions while crews worked to douse the flames.

There has been no word on any injuries.
